Only 15 percent transport on long and medium route

The long and medium routes witnessed operation of some 15 per cent of public vehicles on Thursday. It was the first day after six months of disruption on long route bus service owing to COVID-19 lockdown in different parts of the country including the federal capital, Kathmandu.

According to the Director General of Department of Railways Balaram Mishra, the rail set was ready to be brought to Nepal which would eventually arrive Nepal if there were no issues turn up during the process.

Kalikot has become a coronavirus infection free district. It has turned COVID-19 free district after 20 coronavirus infected people returned home following recovery from Tilagufa municipality-4, Ranchhuli isolation of the district on Wednesday.    

Traffic along Narayangarh-Muglin road obstructed again  

Recurrent landslides have caused uncertainties in the two way traffic operation along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. The road section has been disrupted again due to persistent landslides at Charkilo in Ichhakamana rural municipality.
