One dies of COVID-19 in Janakpur   

A woman died of COVID-19 here last night. The 65-year-old woman from Janakpur Sub-Metropolis breathed her last while receiving treatment at Province Hospital, Janakpur.   

Two COVID-19 infected, including five-month-old baby, die in Dharan   

Two COVID-19 infected persons including a five-month-old baby girl has died at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan.    

Patan sealed off, Dehimandu bazaar closed to avoid crowds   

The local levels here have sealed off Patan bazaar in the district in a bid to prevent and control the growing cases of coronavirus. Similarly, Dehimandu bazaar has been closed and vehicle movement halted.    

APF border outposts set up at two places in Bardia   

The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has set up border outposts at two places in the district. The APF's border outposts have been inaugurated at Shankarpur of Rajapur Municipality-7 and at Jhapti, ward number 10 of the same municipality.

Chief Minister of the Sudur Paschim Province, Trilochan Bhatta, has urged all to celebrate the Dashain festival by becoming safe from coronavirus infection.    

21 deaths from COVID-19 in Sudurpaschim State

Sudurpaschim State has recorded 21 deaths from COVID-19 so far. The province reported 9,048 infection cases as of Friday. The total 7,443 infected people got over the virus. There are highest 10 deaths from the infection in Kailali district.     

One more dies of COVID-19 in Banke  

A person infected of coronavirus died here last night. The 50-year old man breathed his last during treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
