Ranjha, Oct 24 : A person infected of coronavirus died here last night. The 50-year old man breathed his last during treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
The dead one was the resident of Nepalgunj Sub-Metrolis- 1, according to resource person at District Health Office, Naresh Shrestha. With this, the death toll from coronavirus infection related causes reached 30 in Banke district.
He was admitted to hospital 12 days back after experiencing respiratory problem. He was tested positive for coronavirus immediately after the admission. With the coronavirus detection, he was shifted to COVID-19 ward of the Bheri Hospital.
The man was also receiving treatment including plasma therapy.
Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang informed that coordination was underway with Nepali Army and the related family on management of the dead body.
