Entrepreneurs request ministry for on-arrival visa to foreigners   

The entrepreneurs have requested the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to facilitate the arrangement of on-arrival visa to the foreigners entering Nepal via land and air routes. Even the government officials in the tourism sectors are for this bid.    

Identity card to farmers soon: Minister Aryal   

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Padma Kumari Aryal has said farmers would be provided identity card showing their category. The card will help the distribution of agriculture related programmes, she believed.    

Petrol, diesel price up 

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) increased the price of petroleum products since last night. The NOC informed that the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene was upped by Rs 2 per litre in the existing retail price.    

Time card to tippers to minimize accidents   

The Lubmini Traffic Police has introduced time card to tippers in a bid to minimize road accidents. The time card is effective from Dovan of Palpa to Butwal, and from Butwal to Bhairahawa.

Simkot Rural Municipality of Humla district has decided to resume schools from January 18. The schools were closed for long time due to Covid-19 menace.
