Establishment of Rabindra Adhikari Memorial Journalism Award   

A journalism award is to be established in the memory of leader of the CPN (UML) and former Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation late Rabindra Adhikari. The information to this end was shared at an interaction on 'Rabindra Adhikari and Media' organized by Rabindra Adhikari Memorial Foundation on Saturday on the occasion of the third memorial day of the late Adhikari.    

Decisions of executive not made public at the local level 

Although the local governments are required to make public the decisions made in the executive and the work done at the local level, most of them have not done so. Some of the local levels have not made the decision public but posted it on their website, but that has also stopped.    

Rafting possible on the Sanibheri river 

Rafting has been found feasible on the Sanibheri River in Rukum East. A technical team from the Ministry of Tourism, Rural and Urban Development of Lumbini Province recently conducted a successful test for rafting in the river.
