PM Oli to receive COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to be vaccinated against the coronavirus tomorrow, Sunday.  Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi informed about this during an interaction on 'COVID-19 vaccination campaign,' with media persons here today.

The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in most parts of the country with chances of light rain and snowfall at some places, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.

76 vaccination centre for second phase of vaccination

Vaccination is taking place in 73 locations in the district starting tomorrow, under the second phase of nationwide vaccination against Corona Virus. Citizens above 65 years of age are being immunized in the campaign initiated by the government.    

11 Committees for Shiva Ratri festival   

The Pashupati Area Development Trust has formed 11 committees to organize celebration of the Maha Shivaratri festival in the Pashupati temple premises.     The committees include security management and monitoring, publicity management, observation and chandan management, accommodation and food, hermits management, cleanliness, inter-government agency coordination, fair and decoration, volunteer mobilization, data collection, among others.    

48 immunization centres for elderly citizens  

The COVID-19 vaccine is to be administered to citizens above 65 years of age from tomorrow. Accordingly, the senior citizens in five local levels of the district will receive the first doze of the vaccine starting tomorrow.    

Dr Lamsal to be honoured with Mahalaxmi Prize
