Fire at goat farm causes loss of Rs 6 million 

Even the food grains for the goat turned into ashes. The fire broke out at the farm run solely by Jyoti Bimal. He had reared the goats of boer species, according to Information Officer at District Police Office, Rakesh Thapa.  

Corona hospital runs out of beds

The Corona special hospital in Beljhundi of Dang has run of beds. The hospital with 25-bed capacity is now providing treatment to 26 patients infected with Corona Virus.  

30 Rhinos die in 9 months   

Altogether 30 Rhinos have died in Chitwan National Park and adjoining area in the nine months of the current fiscal year. Of them, 26 died of natural causes while four were killed by poachers.    

Three infected die in three hours  

Three people infected with Corona Virus and undergoing treatment at Bheri hospital died last night. They were undergoing treatment at the Corona special ward of the hospital in Nepalgunj.    

Three local levels announced fully literate

At a function held at Mukli on Saturday, the Thulung Dudhkoshi rural municipality was announced fully literate, according to spokesperson Bhupal Singh Rai. A total of 98.5 per cent of the residents of the rural municipality have become literate. 

Daunne accident update: three injured die  

Three passengers including Dhanu Darlami,25, of Ilam, Jyamo Hise Chamo Gyalmo,57, of Makwanpur and Him Lal Neupane,72, of Chitwan succumbed to their injuries sustained in the road accident, said DSP at the District Police Office, Nawalpur Dilip Kumar Giri.
