NAC wide-body plane flying to Beijing tonight to collect oxygen cylinders

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is sending its wide-body A-330 aircraft to Beijing tonight to bring essential medical supplies.    

Sudurpaschim Government releases budget for oxygen plant   

The Hospital Management Committee said the hospital has received Rs eight million from the Province's social development ministry to undertake the project when it is facing challenges to treat Covid-19 cases in lack of oxygen. This life-saving gas is crucial for the treatment of Covid-19 serious cases.

Murder accused arrested from Nepal-India border   

Shivaji Shah of around 35 years of age who is alleged of burning his neigbhour to death after sprinkling petrol on the victim was apprehended from Bhadsar of Malangawa municipality-5 along the Nepal-India border in the district, the District Police Office, Sarlahi confirmed. 

Oxygen bank established in Pokhara   

As said by campaign coordinator Minu Kunwar, Gandaki workshops have around 2,000 oxygen cylinders and they will be sent to oxygen gas industries to refill before supplying to hospitals.

Body of missing youth found in cave

Installation of oxygen plant delayed  

Office officiating Chief Amar Singh Shahi said the plant was procured to manage medical oxygen for Covid-19 patients in the district and it has so far remained unused in the absence of biomedical engineer to install the equipment.
