Duration for ban of international flights extended   

The government has extended the duration of suspension of international flights from Tribhuvan International Airport, country’s sole international airport, till May 31.

34 die of corona virus infection in Bagmati Province in a day  

As per the data released by the Social Development Ministry of the province, a total of 18 people including Bagmati Province Assembly member and CPN (UML) leader, Pashupati Chaulagain, succumbed to corona virus in a day in Kathmandu alone. 

Hospitals in Bhaktapur grappling without oxygen  

Various hospitals in Bhaktapur district are struggling to save lives of Covid-19 patients without oxygen. In many cases, Covid-19 patients need oxygen support in treatment process. Many hospitals in the district have been flooded with the patients following the second wave of the infection. Without oxygen, many hospitals have refused to admit coronavirus patients.    

FNCMEA provides filled oxygen cylinders to Dhading hospital   

The Federation of Nepalese Crusher and Mines Entrepreneurs’ Association (FNCMEA) have jointly provided 47 filled oxygen cylindered to be returned later to the temporary Covid-19 hospital set up by Dhading Hospital.   

Two killed in road accident  

Two persons were killed and one other was injured when a Dhorpatan-bound taxi (Dha 1 Ja 528) met with an accident at Pyangkhola in Dhorpatan Municipality-5 in Baglung district on Tuesday evening.    

Covid-19 death toll in Baglung hits 17  

Two more Covid-19 deaths have been reported in Baglung district taking the death toll from the infection to 17.

  NBSM donates oxygen cylinders  

The Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM) has donated filled oxygen cylinders to Birendra Military Hospital in Chhauni and Balaju oxygen industry (three to hospital, one to industry).
