Jajarkot, May 10 : An oxygen plant that was brought by the Health Service Office, Dolpa two weeks ago is yet to be installed.
Office officiating Chief Amar Singh Shahi said the plant was procured to manage medical oxygen for Covid-19 patients in the district and it has so far remained unused in the absence of biomedical engineer to install the equipment.
The plant was purchased through the Dragon Meditech Pvt Ltd, Surkhet at the cost of Rs 2.9 million and the company is saying the fitting has been delayed as it has just two biomedical engineers who are currently busy in other areas.
The plant has the capacity of producing 40 liters of oxygen per hour and supplying oxygen to at least 25-30 beds at once.
