The Delta variant’s mutation of the coronavirus has been detected in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the mutated forms of the Delta variant were confirmed in nine samples while conducting gene sequencing in New Delhi, India.

Two killed in road accident

Two persons died in a road accident occurred on the Pokhara-Baglung road section. The deceased has been identified as Binod Malla, 32, Bhuktangle, Parbat while next is yet to be identified. According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the unidentified deceased is a man aged around 44-45.
