Bagmati, June 21 : The Provincial Affairs Committee has asked the Bagmati provincial government to provide details of budget allocation in the fiscal year 2021/22 to manage and reduce disasters within 15 days.
This move is to provide necessary guidelines to the provincial government to seek immediate and long-term solutions to natural disasters, said the Committee president Madhav Poudel. He referred to losses of properties worth millions of rupees in Sindhupalchok flooding recently.
Various subcommittees have been formed to provide guidelines to the provincial government to minimise and seek solutions to natural disasters in the Province.
The Committee has also demanded details of the populations who have received the first and second dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
In the first phase, the campaign to collect the details will be launched in Rasuwa, Dhading and Nuwakot districts, said the Committee secretary Tripurari Bakhrel.
