Bharatpur Metropolitan City has distributed tractors to the farmers. The tractors were provided with 50 percent grant in a bid to mechanize and modernize agriculture sector.    

Local road resumes after two weeks

A local road here stretching from Bhimad to Jarebar via Simle and Bhagar has resumed after two weeks of obstruction. The landslide occurred at various places obstructed the road.

Court should offset incitement of violence in debate-PM

At an event organized here today by the Madan Bhandari Foundation on the occasion of 70th birth anniversary of the late communist leader Madan Kumar Bhandari, PM Oli viewed that any activities inciting violence in the court should not be permitted. Oli questioned, “Why could not the Justices order the prudent advocates to put their arguments in a decent manner?”

The construction of these bridges was long overdue. The contractors had been negligently dillydallying the making of these bridges for nearly a decade. Sometimes the irate locals lodging lawsuit against the contractors over the land issue had also caused delay in the construction.

After the session obstruction, attending Province Assembly member Raj Kumar Rai demanded Minister Ambir Babu Gurung beg apology for his immoral and irresponsible statement. He threatened to obstruct the session until the minister came up with apology.
