EC calls CPN (Unified Socialist), Democratic Socialist Party for verification on Wednesday

The Election Commission has summoned the CPN (Unified Socialist) and Democratic Socialist Party that have registered application for party registration to its secretariat on Wednesday for verification.

Rasuwa district hospital in need of digital X-ray machine  

Rasuwa District Hospital has said it was facing problems to diagnose serious health problems for lack of digital x-ray. Manual x-ray does not help ascertain the problem deep inside the body.

Wildlife smugglers arrested, made public 

The Chitwan National Park (CNP) has made public various persons involved in the smuggling of rhino horn. They were held in connection with the investigation on the rhino killed at Mardikhola area of Bandharjhula Post.    

CM Shahi highlights needs of private sector role in Karnali's development

142 cases of human rights violation reported in a month 

The Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has said that 142 cases of violations of human rights were reported in a period of one month (July 16-August 15) this year.
