The weather is generally too fully cloudy across the country due to the influence of monsoon wind, and rainfall is taking place in most parts of the country.

A house at Bhakimli of Beni Municipality-3 in Myagdi district was swept away by the swollen Dhudhe Khola today morning. The flood in Dudhe Khola rivulet has put 45 houses at risk of wipe-out.

Three members of the same family at Ramailo Tole at Kankai Municipality-1 in Jhapa district have been found dead in their house.

Saptari flood victims crying for reliefs 

Thirty five families hit by flooding at Gobargadha in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-13 in Saptari district are crying for reliefs for the past four days. The village has been submerged after the flooded Saptakoshi river overflowed and entered the settlements.

Myagdidslides sweep away water pipelines leading to water shortage in Bagarphant village 

Bagarphant village at Beni Municipality-2 in Myagdi district is grappling without drinking water for the past two months after landslides damaged water sources and pipelines. On June 21, landslides at Maruwa, Upllo Khanna and Bankhe Chhaharo damaged water sources and pipelines causing a shortage of water for 208 houses in the village.    

Monsoon to be active for some days

“Heavy rain is likely in the next three days in some parts of Province No. 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces," he added. Shrestha further shared that light to moderate rainfall will occur in most parts of the country during the period.

Ministry urges masses to follow health safety protocols  

The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged one and all to follow health safety standards while celebrating festivals.     The Ministry has sought the implementation of safety protocols in the market as well. 

Three killed in motorcycle collision 

Three persons were killed when two motorcycles collided at the road leading to Sohra Tangiya in Jitpur-Simara Sub Metropolitan City in Bara district along the East-West Highway, said the police. The accident took place on Saturday night.    

Thirty four houses at landslip risk in Keurani   

Thirty-four houses at Keurani, Melamchi Municipality-8, are at risk of landslide due to incessant rainfall. It is said 27 houses at Khaire and seven houses at Chhayali are in peril due to this.
