Kathmandu, Aug 24 : The meeting of Standing Committee of the major opposition party, CPN (UML), slated for 11 am today has been rescheduled at 3 pm today.
According to CPN (UML)’s central office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the meeting is going to be convened in Tulsi Lal Memorial Building at Chyasal in Lalitpur.
Earlier, the meeting held between CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Standing Committee members on Monday had reached a conclusion to implement the 10-point recommendations furnished by the Committee formed to resolve the intraparty disputes and to further consolidate the party by bringing on board the disgruntled faction.
