Timalsina announces candidacy for NRNA Europe Regional Coordinator  

Krishna Timalsina has announced his candidacy for Europe Regional Coordinator of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in its 10th General Assembly scheduled for October. In the NRNA 9th General Assembly, Timalsina was elected to the post of Europe Regional Deputy Coordinator.

Girl dies in house collapse 

A girl died last night when her house collapsed due to continuous rain. The deceased has been identified as Naina Darji, 10-year-old daughter of Narayan Bahadur Darji of Kailashnagar in Tansen Municipality-5, police said.         

Pindongdanda Community Health Unit Building in Mahurebhanjyang of Temal   

The Pindongdanda community health unit building has been constructed at Ward No. 4, Mahurebhanjyang, with the help of foreign donors and at the initiative of Temal Rural Municipality.    

Helambu highway blocked   

The Helambu Highway has been blocked again due to landslides caused by continuous rainfall. The highway has been obstructed after a landslide at Phatakshila Ratopaharo of Melamchi Municipality-13 on the Melamchi-Jirokilo road section, police said.   

Youths joins hands to run footwear industry  

With the idea of 'Let's do something in our country', 25 youths of the district have started a footwear industry. The Byas Gandaki Shoe and Slipper Industry has come into operation as the first branch of Byas Gandaki Multipurpose Company.
