Sub-station construction at Nawalpur reaches final stage   

The construction of a sub-station has reached the final stage of completion. The structure for the 132-33 KVA is under construction at Nawalpur of Lalbandi Municipality-1 in the district. It is being constructed for extending the central electricity line in the district.    

Melamchi- Indrawati road obstructed again  

The temporary road from Melamchi to Indrawati has been damaged by the heavy rain last night. The road has been damaged at various places making it unfit for operation of vehicles.

Man dies after being bitten by snake  

A man has died after being bitten by a snake at Phungling Municipality in Taplejung district today morning. Bishnu Bahadur Ghatani of the municipality-9 died at the district hospital, said Rakesh Yadav, information officer for the district police office.
