Two drowned in river

Dhananjay Nisad, 13, son of Narendra Nisad of Dhusi in Bhajani Municipality-3, and Arabindra Chaudhary, 10, son of Laikaram Chaudhary of the same locality drowned while bathing in the Kadan River, said Pratik Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to visit Lumbini today. In Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, she is scheduled to visit Bajrayan Vihar, worship at Mayadevi temple, and acquire information about the Lumbini Development Master Plan, said Bhikkhu Metteya, Vice-chair of the Lumbini Development Trust.
