NC new CWC meeting tomorrow 

A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee elected by the recent party’s 14th General Convention has been scheduled for tomorrow at the party central office, Sanepa.

Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Rajendra Prasad Shrestha underlined the need to make the public service delivery swifter.    

Increment in investment on public education stressed 

Experts and educationists recommended the concerned authorities to consider increasing investment in public education by taxing higher for those earning higher.     They recommended it in an interaction on "Investment on Education and Progressive Tax)" organized by the National Campaign for Education -Nepal (NCE-Nepal) in association of TaxEd Alliance.

19 rhinos dead in first six months of current fiscal year 

A total of 19 rhinos died in the last six months in Chitwan National Park, officials confirmed. 

Nepal-India security officials meet in Pithoragarh   

A consultative meeting between the security officials of Nepal and India was held in Pithoragarh of India on Thursday.   It is said that seven different agendas of border activities and controlling the cross-border crimes were discussed in the meeting.

Coalition govt to continue until next elections: Nepal

Stating that dialogues between the ruling parties and others on the Millennium Challenge Corporation project were underway, the former Prime Minister ruled out reports of possibility of breaking the alliance just because of the project. The CPN-US does not accept any project trying to do something other in the name of economic development despite it easily accepting every agreement in the welfare of the country, he said.

A cabinet meeting of the province held at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Dhangadhi on Thursday also endorsed the brief concept of the First Five Year Plan of the province for the fiscal year, 2021/22 to 2024/25, said Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of the province Purna Joshi after the meeting.
