Two die in road mishap 

Two persons died in a road accident at Tinpiple of Tarakeshwor municipality-3 of Kathmandu this morning.     The accident took place when a mini-truck (Na 2 Ka 338) heading towards Sisdole landfill site, Okharpauwa via Pasanglhamu road of Nuwakot carrying garbage fell around 20 meters off the road. 

Mahottari folks bearing brunt of cold with no sunshine for 11 days

Central, western and southern parts in Mahottari district including the district headquarters Jaleshwor have not witnessed sunshine for the past 11 days.     With this people are compelled to endure biting cold.  

Kanti lake regaining glory as a tourism spot 

'Kanti Lake' which is located in between ward 21 and 22 of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis is being reconstructed to revitalize its glory as a tourism hub.     The lake rejuvenation has started at the cost of around Rs 95 million under the aegis of the sub-metropolis, informed mayor Dr Dhawal Shumsher Rana. He shared the target is to complete lake reconstruction within one and a half years.
