Kathmandu, Jan 1: Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Narayankaji Shrestha, has said that nation would be weak if patriotism is not instilled in the students.
At the concluding ceremony of a week-long constructive programme organised by Free Students Union of Ratna Rajya Campus, Shrestha said that the role played by students at a difficult time faced by the nation should always be remembered.
Saying big movements became successful due to youth and students, he said that time has come when youth students should be united to bring back the Nepali territory like Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipulekh encroached by India.
The NCP Spokesperson argued that the Nepalese would not make any compromise over the issue of nationality.
He further said that he was hopeful that solution would be found over the issue of land encroachment by India as the incumbent government had taken initiative in this regard by writing a letter to India.
Leader Shrestha added that the government has been involved in a campaign of building prosperous nation along with social justice, saying the campaign of prosperity would be materialized through the medium of agriculture, tourism and hydropower.
Saying vocational and technical education would resolve unemployment, Shrestha said he has been holding discussion with education minister time and again over the issue of quality of education.
The FSU honoured recently elected lawmaker from Kaski-2, Bidya Bhattarai, who taught at RR campus for long.
