Kathmandu, Feb 21: Ruling partner Rastriya Janamorcha has criticized what he said ‘police intervention’ in a civic demonstration held on Sunday in the central capital against the US-aid project, Millennium Challenge Corporation ( MCC).
In a press statement today, Chair of the coalition partner, Chitra Bahadur KC wished for quick recovery of those injured in the scuffle, demanding government ensure medical treatment of them.
Through the statement, he reminds the party is against the MCC Compact since the beginning.
