By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 5: Considering the surging cases of the novel coronavirus, the Nepali Army has issued a directive to retired staffers of the military medical service to stay ready for roll call duty for COVID-19 response if needed.
Issuing a directive on Wednesday, the NA informed that the meeting held on the Chairmanship of the current chief of army staff had made various plans for the prevention and control of the rampantly spreading virus.
"As preparations are underway to implement the plans, the situation might come to reappoint the retired staffers. Thus, all the retired healthcare professionals under NA are directed to remain prepared," the directive read.
