By Chandani Acharya, Lamki (Kailali), Apr. 12: A 50-year-old male of Godawari Municipality-3 in Kailai succumbed to the novel coronavirus today.
After being infected with the virus, he was receiving treatment under a ventilator facility from Sunday in Seti Provincial Hospital. The hospital informed that the patient breathed his last on Monday morning.
Deepak Shrestha, information officer of the hospital said, “His health condition deteriorated after he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia.”
Currently, three COVID-19 patients are under treatment in Seti Provincial Hospital of which, one is receiving treatment in a ventilator facility, one is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while one is placed in the isolation ward, said Shrestha.
