Kathmandu, Nov. 28: Singers and musicians Satyaraj and Swarooparaj Acharya have lent their voice and music to a qawwali song “Maisaable Ghaite Dilma Ara Chalaisyo”. The singers are brothers.
The song has highly respectful words used in the royal family. The song has lyrics by Amrit Khatiwada and music by Acharya brothers themselves while Uday Raj Poudel has coordinated its music.
Directed by Kabiraj Gahatraj, the music video depicts royal style life.
The qawwali video, which is played at the palace after the entry of the two princes who have gone to see the princess for the wedding, has comes as a ballad.
Actor Paul Shah has done double roles in the music and Sikkim’s beauty Chokeyla Sherpa has been featured in the role of a princess.
Filmed at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu, the video song features more than a hundred chorus artistes.
In the video, singers duo Satyaraj and Swaroopraj Acharya are seen singing qawwali. The video has Sudip Baral as the cinematographer and Alia Giri as the costume designer.
Produced by Kailash Rai, the music video has choreographed by Deepak Raj Sunar, edited by Arjun GC, VFX by Satyam Rana, and colour by Renish Phago.
The music video has been made public on the OSR Digital YouTube channel.
