By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 5: An organic fertilizer producing plant is being established with an investment of Rs. 280 million at Tejnagar in Dhanushadham Municipality-3 of Dhansuha district, Province 2.

Chairman of Aaroh fertilizer Pvt Ltd, Shilendra SJB Rana, said that the industry is expected to reduce foreign market dependency on chemical fertilizer.

He added that buyers are switching to organic fertilizer as chemical fertilizer reduces productivity along with its adverse impact on human health.

It will begin its production after April 2022 targeting to produce 7 thousand 5 hundred metric tons per year. Production will be scaled up as per demand, he said.

Province 2 is selected for the establishment of the industry as there are a large number of agriculture farms and pivot point to transit in other provinces, he said.

The company has purchased 3 bigah of land for setting up the plant.

Chairman Rana informed that the Aaroh fertilizer Pvt. Ltd. will invest for it with the technical support of BioMix USA and Wishworth Biocare Ltd, India.

The company believes that the fertilizers to be prepared with domestic ingredients will be very useful for a larger number of farmers.

He said that the company will test the soil of the area of the demand and produce the fertilizer suitable for the given area.

He said that 250 kg of organic fertilizer produced in the company can cover one hectare of land.
