By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 14: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Saturday confirmed 1,946 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley.
Of the total 1,946 new infections recorded across the nation on Saturday, 835 new cases, 379 females and 456 males, were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley itself, revealed the MoHP in its daily update.
Currently, there are 15,967 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 77,645 including 61,379 cases of recoveries and 299 fatalities.
Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 7,044 infections until now of which, 5,662 patients have already recovered while 76 succumbed to the infection. There are 1,306 active cases in Bhaktapur.
Lalitpur district has recorded 11,162 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 8.732 recoveries and 84 deaths. Currently, there are 2,346 active cases in Lalitpur.
