By Our Correspondent, Syangja, Sept. 28: A landslide has buried eight steamers at Andhi Dobhan in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality -7 of Syangja.
The steamers are being operated by Kaligandaki Water Transport Pvt. Ltd was buried in a landslide last night, said chairman Dol Raj Bhattarai.
He said that the steamers were ready to bring in operation within a few days, but the landslide damaged them last night.
He said the steamers worth millions of rupees were completely damaged by a sudden landslide last night.
The steamers were in operation in an artificial lake built for the Kaligandaki A Hydro Project.
