India and host Nepal advanced into the semi-final as Group A winner and runners up respectively. The 25-08, 25-11, 25-09 defeat from India meant Bangladesh crashed out from medal race.

Nepal Police sending 92 players to 13th SAG   

Ninety two players from Nepal Police are playing in various disciplines in the 13th South Asian Games.     The Police Headquarters stated that 44 female and 48 male players from Nepal Police will be competing in the SAG being held in Nepal from December 1 through 10. 

Nepali eve go down against India

Nepal performed well against India but Nepal went down to India by 26-24, 25-12 and 25-15 in a straight-set. Nepal dominated India in the first set with two times lead but host failed to grab match point while Nepal was 24-22.

SAG players, officials insured for accidents

The accident insurance will cover all the players and officials who fall victims to any accident during the SAG. The insurance will come into effect from 1st of December 10th December. NSC has insured around 3000 athletes and 1000 officials who will be directly involved in the SAG.

As per the match schedule made public today by the SAG Organizing Committee, Nepal will play against the test nation Sri Lanka in the Men's T-20 Cricket on December 3.
