Kathmandu, Nov 19: Nepal lost to Kuwait by 0-1 in the match held on Tuesday under the second round of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The match was held at the Changlimithang stadium of Thimpu, Bhutan.
Kuwait captain Badal Al Almotawa's goal in the 28th minute of the match sealed a win for Kuwait.
This was a home match for Nepal after losing 0-7 in the away match held in Kuwait.
It had to be played in a neutral venue after Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu was not completed to host the home match for Nepal.
In the match held under the qualifying so far, Nepal has secured one win and faced three losses.
Nepal defeated Chinese Taipei by 2-0 but lost to Australia (0-5) and Jordan (0-3).
