8th General Convention of CPN (Maoist Center)
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 31: The 8th General Convention of the CPN (Maoist Center) has endorsed the report presented by party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' unanimously.
According to Suresh Regmi, press coordinator of Chairman Prachanda, the closed-door session passed the report.
Today's closed-door session will be over after the endorsement of the reports.
Earlier, party Chair Prachanda had furnished replies to the queries raised by discussion groups over his document.
The Party's General Convention representatives were divided into 25 groups to study the report and present their conclusions.
It had taken two days for the groups to present their views after taking a day for group discussions.
Started on Sunday, the General Convention was supposed to be over by yesterday.
The supreme body of the party is likely to take two more days than previously set for its conclusion.
