Pokhara, Dec 17 (RSS):
Chitwan Rhinos on Tuesday emerged victorious by defeating defending champion Pokhara Paltan in the ongoing Pokhara Premier League (PPL) T-20 Cricket Competition.
In the game held at Pokhara Stadium, Chitwan Rhinos won by six wickets. Chitwan Rhinos met the target of 108 runs with the loss of five wickets in 14.3 overs.
Babar Hayat of Chitwan Rhinos made 66 runs with six fours and four sixes while Sunny Patel contributed 22 runs and Rohan Mustafa made 11 runs for the team.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Pokhara Paltan made 107 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 10 wickets. Captain Sharad Bheswakar made the highest 45 runs in 39 balls.
Played two matches so far, Pokhara Paltan has won a match and lost the next one.
