Charikot, Dolakha, Nov 28 : Newly appointed Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Parbat Gurung has said that he would work hard to implement laws, acts and rules made for the welfare of women, children and senior citizens.
For ending social evils such as violence against women and child marriage, he said he would prioritise such programmes that would change the view of the society towards such social evils.
He was speaking at an event organised on Wednesday in Dolakha district jointly by the Nepal Communist Party office, Bhimeshwor municipality, the district coordination committee and Satdobato Charighyang village reform committee to honour the minister.
He also directed chiefs of the district-based government offices and security agencies to discharge their duty with discipline and responsibility to prosper the country.
