Kathmandu, Nov. 13: The Nepali national football team is playing a friendly match against Bangladesh in Dhaka today evening.
The match is scheduled at 4:45 pm (Nepali time), said the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). For Nepali national team, the match is taking place after a break of one year due to global COVID-19 pandemic. Another match between Nepal and Bangladesh is scheduled for November 17.
Both countries played a match in SAFF Championship in September, 2018. In the tournament, Nepal defeated Bangladesh 2-0.
Nepal is playing the friendly match against Bangladesh in its bid to be prepared for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, it has been said. Now, Nepal has entered second phase under the qualifiers. A team of 34 including players and coaches is in Dhaka to play the friendly match.
