Kathmandu, March 18 : The first international friendly football match between Nepal's national team and England's 'C' team has been postponed.
The match scheduled for May 25 and to be played in England has been postponed due to the fear over COVID-19 pandemic which has spread globally, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said. ANFA said the game has been postponed until a new date was fixed.
ANFA and Football Association (FA) of England had reached an agreement in January to organise two friendly matches. The second friendly match will be played in Nepal in 2021.
