Kathmandu, Dec. 10: Foundation stone for the reconstruction of a historic heritage, Aangachhe, located at Hanumandhoka Durbar Square has been laid.
Mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bidhya Sundar Shakya, laid the foundation stone of the heritage damaged by the Gorkha earthquake.
On the occasion, he said that although efforts were made to reconstruct some heritages, it was delayed due to a dispute with locals.
Chairperson of KMC-21, Uday Chudamani Bajracharya, shared that equal importance has been given to service flow and infrastructure construction.
The three-storey Aangachhe is going to be reconstructed at a cost of Rs 10.5 million.
