Kathmandu, Sept 24: Nepal U-18 Football team head coach Chet Narayan Shrestha resigned on Tuesday following the two time defending champion Nepal’s early exit from SAFF U-18 Football Championship.
Coach Shrestha quit the post taking all responsibilities of his team’s defeat and pathetic performance at the tournament.
“My experience was not enough for my team’s performance at an international level football tournament and I am fully responsible for the early exit of the team,” Coach Shrestha said.
“I want to come after learning many more things about football and gathering international level experience,” Coach Shrestha added.
