Kathmandu, Sept 30: Nepal Badminton Association (NBA) kicked off selection games for the upcoming 13th South Asian Games (SAG) scheduled to be held from 1st to 10th December at Kathmandu, Pokhara.
A total of 34 players including 17 men and 17 women players will be participating in the selection kicked off on Monday at National Sports Council (NSC) covered-hall, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
The three-day long selection programme will choose the final 10 men and 10 women players for the mega regional sporting event.
According to the coordinator of the selection committee and NBA secretary Nabin Bikram Shah, NBA called 34 players including 17 men and 17 women shuttlers who were selected from 8th National Games held in Nepalgunj to the close-camp of the biggest regional sporting event.
The selection will be held in the league system.
