Kathmandu, Jan 3: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has administered the oath of office and secrecy to its central committee members elected from the recently held eighth general convention of the party.
The oath-taking programme was chaired by Dina Nath Sharma, the eldest member of the committee.
A meeting of the central committee of the CPN (Maoist Centre) will be held at Heritage Plaza in Sanepa immediately after the swearing-in. This will be the first meeting of the Central Working Committee.
According to Election Commission Chairman Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, although Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' was unanimously elected as the chairperson from today's meeting, there is little possibility of a consensus among the office-bearers.
