Kavrepalanchowk, May 22 : Five more local levels in Kavrepalanchowk district have been sealed off to check the surge in Corona Virus infection. Dhulikhel, Panauti, Paanchkhal municipalities, and Roshi and Bumlu rural municipalities have been shut down.
Except emergency health service everything else has been closed down. Prior to this, Banepa remains shut since Sunday.
Solid waste management, telephone, internet and power supply services will continue with minimum staffers. The District Administration Office, Kavre meanwhile has enforced the prohibitory order in the district. There are six municipalities and seven rural municipalities in Kavrepalanchowk district.
In the last 24 hours, 197 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the district. Prior to his, 592 were found infected on Wednesday and 282 on Thursday, according to the District COVID-19 crisis management committee.
Since the beginning of the second wave, 2,469 people have been infected with the highest rate of infection in Banepa followed by Dhulikhel, Panauti and Paanchkhal.
