To get to this lovely scenic spot, one has to take the road to Sindhuli-Bardibas from Dhulikhel and reach Jaruwakhola through Namo Buddha and Dapcha and then go on foot for about an hour from Jaruwa Khola to Kafaldanda.
Bir Bahadur Magar, Chairman of the Tindhare Waterfall Coordination Committee, said that the waterfall had been there for hundreds of years but it became popular after some people took its pictures by drone cameras in the first week of February.
"We are 32 households around this waterfall and presently we are repairing slippery trail to the waterfall by we locals' volunteer labour," said Magar.
He said that as many tourists visiting the scenic spot complained of risky trail, works related to paving the path with stone had also been started in the initiative of the Rural Municipality and that iron railing bar would also be put in place so as to save visitors from falling down the waterfall.
The Rural Municipality has allocated Rs. 500, 000 for protection and preservation of the waterfall, said Chairman Magar. He added that the local level had also allocated recently a million rupees for improving the access road to the waterfall and that they were also informed that the Provincial government was also mulling over providing development budget for the waterfall.
