By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 18: The Nepali football team that has become the runner-up in the SAAF Championship Football Tournament has arrived in Kathmandu today
A team of Nepali national players and officials has landed in Kathmandu. Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj arrived at the airport to welcome the team.
Nepal was become to runner-up after losing 3-0 to India in the final match on Saturday evening in Male, the capital of Maldives. Nepal had reached the final for the first time in the history of SAAF this year.
Head coach of Nepali football team Abdullah Al Mutairi, who managed to take Nepal to the final, said that he would decide later whether to return to Nepal or not.
