By Gyanu Pangeni, Kawasoti, Feb. 25: The government has started the up-gradation of the Narayangadh-Butwal section of the East-West highway.
Narayangadh-Butwal section road will be expanded to four-lane except for the 12km stretch of the road that lies around Daunne of Nawalparasi east and Nawalparasi West. Due to the geographical structure of Daunne the 12 km section will be expanded as three-lane only.
Road Expansion Project of Nawalparasi West's Information Officer Yuvaraj Pande said that 'S' modes of Daunne hill have been expanding from both sides of roads these days.
