By Our Correspondent, Dhading, Feb. 16: Modern millet ear threshing machine has come into operation in Chimchowk of Ganaga Jamuna Gaunpalika ward 3 in Dhading.
The modern thresher machine was bought by two brothers Lal Bahadur Tamang and Balangdung Tamang at a cost of Rs. 200,000.
Tamang brothers are currently providing threshing services to local farmers at Rs. 100 per load of millet ears.
We are earning Rs. 1200 per day by threshing millet ears brought by the farmers, said Lal Bahadur Tamang.
A local farmer Som Lal Tamang said that it had been very easy to thresh millet ears due to the operation of modern machine in the village.
He said that this was the first time the modern threshing machine was used in the northern belt of Dhading district.
Local farmers said that they need not search labour to thresh millet ears after the arrival of the new thresher.
