By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 27: A hearing on Mohammad Aftab Aalam's case has been scheduled for today in the Supreme Court.
Baburam Dahal, spokesperson at the SC, informed that a joint bench of Justices Prakashman Singh Raut and Prakash Kumar Dhungana would hear the case.
Alam has been accused of claiming dozens of lives in a bomb blast in Rajpur, Rautahat on April 9, 2008.
Earlier on May 29, 2012, the SC had ordered the government to conduct a proper investigation to the case and take action accordingly. Alam was elected as a lawmaker from Rautahat Constituency-2 during the first Constituent Assembly elections in 2008.
