By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 9: Food Management and Trading Company Limited (FMTC) has started selling he-goats, targeting the Dashain festival from today. Goats can be bought from the Thapathali branch of FMTC.
“We have started selling goats from today,” said Sharmila Neupane Subedi, spokesperson of the FMTC, “ Around 1000 goats have already arrived, while, others are continued to arrive.”
The company has fixed the price of a he-goat at Rs 650 per kg this year, however, Rs 10 per kg discount has been provided, after which the buyer will get meat at Rs 640 per kg.
