By Amrit Prasad Paudel, Beni, March 18: The Muktinath temple, a holy pilgrimage site in the Trans-Himalayan district of Mustang, has seen an increase in the number of visitors this year.
After two years the pressure of visitors has increased after the temple, which was closed at the beginning of COVID-19, is now open.
Muktinath, a holy place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists, is now visited by more than 1,500 visitors daily, said Mustang Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma.
