By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 14: Devotees have thronged the Taleju Bhawani Temple located at the Kathmandu Durbar Square Premises on the occasion of Maha Navami.
The Taleju Bhawani Temple opens for the public only once a year on the day of Maha Navami during Dashain. However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the temple was closed last year.
Efforts have been made to ensure that the devotees pay homage to goddess Bhawani by following all the public health standards. The Taleju Bhawani goddess was brought to Mulchowk of Hanuman Dhoka Durbar on the day of Phulpati.
It has been said that the goddess would be sent back to the main temple on Vijaya Dashami.
