Kathmandu, Jan. 8: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Paudel has directed the department heads under the ministry to submit their performance report every fortnight.
Minister Paudel called the department heads to the ministry on Friday and instructed them to submit the performance report. The Minister also asked them to submit their action plan of one week.
Minister Paudel also instructed to study the files that have been stuck for 50 years and complete the work immediately. He asked them to give reasons if they could not accomplish the given tasks.
He directed the department heads not to stop the scholarships provided by the Ministry to the poor, needy and helpless students.
Stressing on the need of determination, will power and activism of the staff to achieve the goal set by the ministry, he said that the ministry was the source of manpower for the nation building tasks.
Similarly, Minister of State for Education Bodh Maya Yadav said that works to deliver textbooks to schools should begin in time.
